Inspired by a challenge issued by Graham Cochrane of The Recording Revolution, I embarked on a musical journey for the whole of 2016. Each month I wrote, recorded, mixed, and released a brand new song. This was a whole new way to create than I had ever experienced, and it forced me to push myself artistically and technically. These songs now serve as timestamps of my life that year in such a way that I will always remember the events and emotions I experienced. Some of these songs made it into my regular repertoire, while some were destined to have their own special place in this collection. One part musical yearbook, one part creative catalyst, this is: One Song, One Month.
